About the event

November Winter Weekend trip up to the UP!

**Route for the trip is still being developed, this will be going from the Mackinaw Bridge to Menakaunee Point. (Pretty much straight up into the UP directly towards Lake Superior). More details to come

Camping will be dispersed camping *You are responsible for your own sleeping arrangements with your vehicle. You are also responsible for your own food.

**Plan for cold weather camping...possibility of snow is likely

We are limiting the trip to 10 rigs due to not congesting the trails with a large group.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: - Must own a 4×4 Off Highway Vehicle (OHV), Registered, Inspected and Road Legal.

Must haves: Decent ground clearance – Recovery points front and back – Full size spare tire – Mud Terrain or All Terrain tires, no smaller than 31″ in diameter.

** Most stock Jeep Wranglers, Toyota 4 Runners, Tacomas, Land Rovers, FJ Cruisers, Xterras etc. will be suitable to partake in most of our overland tours.**

COMMS: It is recommended that you set yourself up with a HAM Radio as that is how we handle all of our trail communications. For a simple setup we recommend the BaoFeng UV-5R as a budget friendly option. HAM Frequency: 146.350

*Vehicle requirements are put into place for the safety of those on the trail, and also allowing the trail team to move at a reasonable pace. We do not allow vehicles with standard highway tires on our trail rides since those tires typically do not give the performance needed for off-roading/overlanding. If you have any questions or concerns about these vehicle requirements please message us.
