VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: - Must own a 4×4 Off Highway Vehicle (OHV), Registered, Inspected and Road Legal. Must haves: Decent ground clearance – Recovery points front and back – Full size spare tire – Mud Terrain or All Terrain tires, no smaller than 31″ in diameter. ** Most stock Jeep Wranglers, Toyota 4 Runners, Tacomas, Land Rovers, FJ Cruisers, Xterras etc. will be suitable to partake in most of our overland tours.**
COMMS: It is recommended that you set yourself up with a HAM Radio as that is how we handle all of our trail communications. For a simple setup we recommend the BaoFeng UV-5R as a budget friendly option. HAM Frequency: 146.660
*Vehicle requirements are put into place for the safety of those on the trail, and also allowing the trail team to move at a reasonable pace. We do not allow vehicles with standard highway tires on our trail rides since those tires typically do not give the performance needed for off-roading/overlanding. If you have any questions or concerns about these vehicle requirements please message us.
